Late Admissions
Ceramic helmets lined in rows support a file cabinet filed with student information. These helmets represent the soldiers who make the freedom for an education possible. As they allow us this freedom, they line up for admissions. However, these particular soldiers are the late admissions. They never made it.

Background info: During Fall semester of 2012, 58 soldiers lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan. The portion of the helmets shown in this installation represent some of the soldiers that may have chosen to pursue a college education upon returning home.
